Sol! Oh wow. I had no idea you were still out and about. I was titling a new piece I made (painting) and settled upon the name "solbeam" after you actually, because of the sense of wonder and freedom that it is meant to portray. I remembered how inspired I felt when you left collegeclub.com and randomly checked in from somewhere else in the world. That demonstration of willingness and guts and freedom propels me to this day. I was curious as to if there was some record of your travels archived somewhere so I did a quick search on google and wow...you are still at it.

Thank you,

Your writing is absolutely beautiful. Each time I sit down to the computer to read your blogs I am overcome with an indescribable feeling of serenity and comfort. As somewhat of a writer myself--though nowhere near the same caliber as yourself--I find them extremely inspirational. Please continue to fill my solemn days with beautiful words, as I look forward to each story you tell. Thank you for the amazing inspiration, it has honestly helped me to grow as a writer :)

I really like your writing style. I started my own travel blog, and someone referred me over to your site as I had been wanting to get a feel for the different writing styles out there. My blog is travel-based, but rather than it focus on reviewing places, I'm taking the "single guy" perspective and writing a collection of short (and true) anecdotes from each city i've been too--the backdrop of the story being the city itself.

It's called Jetset+Go (http://jetsetandgo.blogspot.com). I'm still new to blogging, and I hate to admit it but writing is probably not my strong suit. If you get a second, I welcome any criticism you may have for me!
