Put up “defing home” and came upon your website. Having walked the Camino more than once and having a pilgrim soul, I connected with your comments. Very recently, yesterday to be exact I suddenly became aware that I had come home. I was thrilled with a deep sense of peace and place. The place I experienced this awareness was in a log cabin in the Canadian woods of Muskoka. I am just now letting myself sense the feeling of having come home. Without every realizing I was not home or even wanting home (I had always thought of home as being greatly overrated) it was a profound surprise to realize that I was home.
